update finally!

so right now i dont have pictures to put on the blog but i thought i would let everyone know what we are up to.. its been a while because our computer situation is unique.. We have our laptop but only in certain spots in the house do we have connection. so we have to use my sisters computer which is in their room.  So....anyways.. We are in California living with my sister.  Sione is taking the police test on the 13th of this month, so please pray for us and him that he will pass!  Kira is a full on walker now! it is very cute! She loves to walk.. She does this really cute thing, when she is standing she starts clapping but she brings her arms all the way back and then forward to clap. Its really cute! she started to pretty much only walk on thanksgiving, so she is doing great.  She is starting to drink whole milk and eat table food, which she loves.  I think shed'd rather have table food than anything else.  Thanksgiving was great. the night before we drove out to my mom's house and stayed there for 3 days. We decorated my grandmas's house with her christmas decorations, which is always fun to do!  I just love christmas!

Currently Sione is working at Ralphs, its not a great job but its a job till the police acadamy.  

We are doing great and loving our life as parents!

Moving to California

So its official now.   We are moving to california next week. Sione gave his two week notice and we are on our way to a new adventure.  Sione is working on getting into a Police Department down in either ontario, newport or chino.  So we are hoping that works out for us, hoping at least that part of our plan will go smoothly. 

I am very excited that I will be closer to family and be able to have Kira closer to her cousins.

Kira is 9 months

Kira had her 9 month check up today, she is a healthy little girl but her Iron was a little low so we have to go get a more official test done at the lab in the hospital.  That should be fun!! :(

So Kira is 18 lbs some odd ounces.  28 and some odd inches.  and 44.5 head circum. So she is doing well. Now that she has been a crawling machine she has lost some weight but she is still in the average range which is great! 

So on the 25th of September 2008 Kira's first two bottom teeth started to show through. They are slowly coming through, and I think they are pretty much above the gums but not by too much.  It very cute because she keeps touching her teeth with her tongue, so I caught her on the camera one day.  

Also lately Sione and I have been trying to teach Kira how to stand.. She has been doing it by herself lately trying to practice her balance. She gets up standing with help of the couch then she will let go of the couch then crouch down and pop back up.  So today Sione was holding her facing me and as he let go then she stood there for one sec and then took her first step all by herself.. then fell down. and She did that twice. It was very exciting.  When someone is holding her from behind she is more willing stand up longer because she doesnt know when they are going to let go.  It is very cute.
