Utah Trip August 08

So Kira and I were able to go to Utah this month to see family and friends. Eric my brother was blessing his new little baby girl Morgan Lily. So i thought what the heck lets go.. I am so glad i went, i had tons of fun.. Kira was able to meet lots of new people and see family again. I was able to visit with a lot of my friends that live up there and it was soo good to see all of them doing so well.. A couple of my friends have little boys that were almost one when Sione and I moved from Utah and now they are almost 2, its crazy how time flies and how big they get. I was able to visit my coaches from college and the trainers there.
Here are few pictures of Kira, of course and whatever else i think i should put up. Oh ya on the trip back to Anchorage, i was stuck in the Seattle airport for pretty much 7 hours.. it was horrible. but kira was trooper. so the picture where my face is all sideways and weird, that is the airport picture we are both really tired of being there!

Bowling

for Jesse's birthday which is the day after sione's we went bowling, jesse is sione's brother.

I havent been bowling in a long time.. i didnt do to bad.. i won once, sione won twice and then sione's dad won once.. after we played two games with sione's parents, sione and I played two more games.. i felt a lot of pressure for some reason.. but it was tons of fun!

Sione's 25th Birthday

so on the the 22nd of July we celebrated Sione's 25th birthday.. The day started out by me making french toast for him (not in bed).. after we ate we went to see Batman.. the Dark Knight! that was a great movie.. I like it a lot... After that we came home and played with Kira.. I couldn't wait any longer to give him his present, i got him an ipod shuffle, ya ya i know that isnt too creative but he wanted one to go running with... It was either that or a 700 dollar laptop, or a nissan titan.. so you see why i got him the 50 dollar shuffle?! :)
He had to go to mutual for a meeting and then he came back and dinner was all ready for him...
he really enjoyed the day, he loves being pampered! While i pampered him he pampered kira so it worked out!

Redmond, Oregon

After my trip to California for the 4th and the blessing, I met Sione in Redmond, Oregon to visit his grandparents.. It was going to be the first time for them to meet Kira, so they are pretty excited.. We had lots of fun.. We love hanging out with them.. Sione's uncle Dallin, took us to this river and we took some pictures there.. so thats what these pictures are from..

scooting/crawling Kira

(not the best picture but it shows her on her hands and knees) So while we were in California, on the 4th of July Kira started to do a scooting, crawl thing.. I looked it up and its called a leapfrog crawl. It was very exciting. and on the 7th of July was the first time i saw Kira sit up without doing the tripod sit. and then the 11th of July Kira rolled over from her back to her stomach for the first time.. now she does it like a pro. She is doing great!
OK about our trip:

July 4th Trip

Kira and I went to California for the 4th of July and for the blessing of my niece Julianna. We spent the 3rd of July in Palm Desert with some of my family.. My sister has a time share there, it was pretty big.. They have access to pools so we went swimming. It was Kira's first time swimming.. the water was pretty hot but she wasnt sure about the hot hot sun. That same day we went to my brothers fire station in Indian Wells, which is really close to my sisters time share. Gina came up with Julianna to visit with everyone.. Bryan and Heather and the kids were there and tori and Brett were there too. , they were staying with cyndie for two weeks. For the 4th of July Kira and I watched the Norco fireworks.. They were actually alright this year.. We went up to the church bldg. to watch them.. Its where most of the LDS people go to watch them.
Julianna was blessed that sunday the 6th of July.. Robert blessed her and did a great job.. Mark was able to be down for the blessing. That was a nice treat for Robert.
The day before i left Karl and Stephanie flew in from Texas.. They were there visiting Stephanie's family. We took lots of pictures.
