Kira Playing Around

I just wanted to post some pics of kira looking at herself in the mirror and messing around! She doesnt usually take a pacifier but she did for about 5 minutes. it was weird.. and i love the picture of Sione and Kira reading a book together.  August 2008

Alaska State Fair

Kira and I went to the state fair in august and we had tons of fun.. We went on a super slide together.. thats pretty much it, but we went and saw the animals and we enjoyed watching Kira's uncles go on rides.  When they were on the swings this girl started to fall off and was freaking out.. it was pretty intense.  My mother-in-law has the picture of kira and i on teh slide but i will post some others. of Kira enjoying herself..  I love my little girl! 

Tupou Family Reunion

i forgot to mention that before sione and i went to utah we had a family reunion in Juneau, Ak that we attended.. It was crazy but we had tons of fun!
for a few nights we all stayed at a lodge near the water,, it was great.. I was able to meet some more people that i had not met before and was able to get to know some of his cousins that i dont see very often..
One of the nights all the married siblings told their marriage stories.. even though we had to run into town during that time, we were able to hear a few later on during the reunion and it was very fun to listen to the stories.

Second Utah trip

so we went back to utah, but this time Sione came with Kira and I.. we had tons of fun.. We were able to visit with a lot of friends that we havent see for a while now!
I have pictures but i have been slacking on getting them up because the program i use is being weird so i will get them up eventually!
So kira has learned how to move along furniture now.. Its really fun to watch..
I think Sione and I are getting ready to go visit his friend in Ohio.. that should be a fun trip.. ive never been to ohio.. or we might just go to California and visit my family.. which would be lots of fun also!

Kira's milestones

So with in the last month Kira has done so great on everything... I am just very proud of her..
she goes from laying down to sitting up, she waves hello, she loves to walk when someone holds her hands, she loves to stand next to furniture, she found the letters m and b, so she babbles that all the time now..she sits like a pro now and is learning how to move to be more comfortable or to get something and she does her scoot crawl, that happened on the 4th of july and she is just getting faster and faster every day! it is so fun to see her growing healthy and strong. It might sound like im bragging but I'm not,, this is kind of part of my journal so i like to include a lot of things. Being a mom is so wonderful!

Utah Trip August 08

So Kira and I were able to go to Utah this month to see family and friends. Eric my brother was blessing his new little baby girl Morgan Lily. So i thought what the heck lets go.. I am so glad i went, i had tons of fun.. Kira was able to meet lots of new people and see family again. I was able to visit with a lot of my friends that live up there and it was soo good to see all of them doing so well.. A couple of my friends have little boys that were almost one when Sione and I moved from Utah and now they are almost 2, its crazy how time flies and how big they get. I was able to visit my coaches from college and the trainers there.
Here are few pictures of Kira, of course and whatever else i think i should put up. Oh ya on the trip back to Anchorage, i was stuck in the Seattle airport for pretty much 7 hours.. it was horrible. but kira was trooper. so the picture where my face is all sideways and weird, that is the airport picture we are both really tired of being there!

Bowling

for Jesse's birthday which is the day after sione's we went bowling, jesse is sione's brother.

I havent been bowling in a long time.. i didnt do to bad.. i won once, sione won twice and then sione's dad won once.. after we played two games with sione's parents, sione and I played two more games.. i felt a lot of pressure for some reason.. but it was tons of fun!
